change empty key batteries

anyone was try to change key batteries by yourself ? is it start from this gap?

no,you need a small flat bladed screw driver and at end where key ring would attach insert screw driver in between two halves,it is tricky and if you don't get it right you can damage key.

thank for the advice.so lucky you reply me quick then i go get this small screw driver.im done. is so easy and im gonna upload the pic to share all cgt driver

here we go 1st step use this small screw driver put into the tidy gap.put it out and use the screw driver to open bentley logo cover.it open.finish.so easy.2min

I did it but would not really say it was easy or uneventful. I had a hard time separating the halves and then getting back together having some difficulty with the rubber. I practiced on the valet key and ended up bruising the plastic.

i was so worry about that.can't find many info on internet about open the key.bentleytech remind me use small flat bladed screw driver.i'm so lucky to DIY didn't get broken&scratch...that's y i share some pic for you guy.

those pics above are the correct way to do it,if you are not careful you can damage key ring holder ,thats why dealers keep that part in stock !

Post #8 is the way I did it and I did gouge the plastic a bit, oh well.

Hi, Post 8 is the correct way and what Bentley recommends - flat screwdriver carefully from the end of key by the keyring..ease the clamshell cover apart and voila! Hope that helps, I would not try by the badge..much easier to damage it there..

EVERY time I used Post #8 it broke the small plastic bit that holds the other keys/keyring.
