Brake pad cross reference?

My Cousin just bought a 05 gt. He needs pads, what are the part numbers, and or cross reference to a Audi or Vw pad? Tia. --Rob

BentleyF will become famous soon enough
you can only cross ref the rears pads and rear rotors. I used audi a8 w12.The audi has 3 (different size rear rotors) I had work done at my local vw dealership.

I need rear pads for my 04 GT. Do you know the specific year/model/part# to crossover?

Alternate Brake Pad supplier

You might want to investigate Carbotech (Concord, NC), as they have pad listings for both Bentley and Audi models:

www dot ctbrakes dot com

They have a toll free number, and they can also put their compound(s) on your old pads.

hi Guys!

in the referenced links there are xref for break pads but is 2010 post. veeeryyy old.

now - what brake pads you use (3rd pty vendor - without bentley tax) of good quality for fair price

2010 proposal:

W12 oil filter element : Mann Evotop HU 932/6x
W12 Engine oil : Fully Synthetic 0W-40 (i.e. Mobil1)
Front Brake Pads : Delphi # LP 1002 or Ferodo # FDB 1001 or Mintex # MDB 1746 (L=195mm x H=74mm x T=20mm used on Audi RS4 2000-2001 and Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG 1997-2001)
Rear Brake Pads : Ferodo # FDB 1672 (L=139.6mm x H=67.8mm x T=17mm used on BMW M5 E60/E61 and BMW M6 E64)
Front Brake Rotors : 15.9" x 1.4" Alcon
Rear Brake Rotors : 13.2" x 0.9" Alcon (from Audi RS6)

but eg mintex 1746 is continental (not gt)

i would like to get fresh proposals pls

Hi,

Here is a little fresher info:
Changing Rear Brake Pads Conti GT - 6SpeedOnline - Porsche Forum and Luxury Car Resource

I had changed both front and rear pads on my 05 GT with aftermarket brands. Given Bentley's relationship with VAG and so many common systems across models, the aftermarket has done a lot of the crossover brake parts for you. In the US we have some good online parts suppliers such as Rockauto, and Amazon often carries the same products with a P/N.

Hope this helps
