Anyone have this problem before??

A friend of mine has recently brought an 08 flying spur which had aftermarket wheels. The car had a slight hop in the steering wheel when he bought it. But since he planned on getting rid of the wheels he didn't pay it any mind as it acted just like a bent or unbalanced rim. So ge went to a wheel shop 3 weeks ago and got a new set of wheels and tires. And the hopping in the steering wheel is still there and alway around 55 to 65ish mph. The wheel shop he went too is not exactly a top notch store. (rent and roll). So after 2 weeks and multiple tries of them trying to fix it, they finally put a new set of different brand wheels and tires on yesterday. And the hop is still there. His independent mechanic says its definitely a balancing issue. You guys know if there is anything else that would cause this? Or maybe the shop is just filled with morons. It only does the hopping at speed and not under braking.

Maybe its the air suspension that raises and lowers the car at certain speeds. If it is broken you will get wheel hop.

He had a pre purchaseinspection done and his mechanic he used to work at Bentley said the car was in flawless shape. He said his air suspension seems work just fine. And his alignment is good. So i told him to just buy a new set of stock wheels and if those fix the problem then get a refund. Just seems odd that 2 different sets of wheels and tires would not be balanced properly after many attempts.
