Download event data recorder (EDR)? Flying Spur

Hi all!

Do you guys know how I can download data from the EDR (like the flight data recorder in an airplane)? I assume the Flying Spur (2009) has one, and am wondering what device is required.

thanks in advance!

.....Hopefully we will get a vigorous discussion going on code readers...for starters it might help to go to the Vag-Com website (they are the experts on VW based tecknology) and read all the frequently asked questions and answers, it contains a wealth of information. All our Bentleys sold in United States in last ten years have capability to record malfunction faults recorded as fault codes referencing all the many computerized systems i.e. engine, emission controls, windows, etc...Good luck with your 2009 FS. Do you have use and service history on car....JimB
