Well I think you have a good concept but definitely a few critical flaws. I personally don't like the red theme, the emblem is not all red and making the whole car follow that is a little to cheap for an M6. As for the rims, I would have done a more glossy powder coat. They look more matte than glossy and it doesn't look right with the paint. However, if you could redo it all again, I would just slap some black (maybe with chrome lip) wheels like HRE/360 forged/iForged and call it a day. As for the exhaust, one, if you are going to keep that set up, put it closer to the back it looks really recessed. Two, instead of going for sound only, you should have looked at M6 specific exhaust by reputable BMW tuner names. HKS is a very good company if you have an IS300 or a 350Z, but not an M6. Maybe check Dinan? You could put a Tubi exhaust system on a Buick but it doesn't mean you should, catch my drift? Then lower it/lightly tint the reflectors/tails and be done. The line between tasteful and overdone is a thin one and you are teetering on the edge.

Now, note, this is not to say your car doesn't look nice. It is still an M6 and still looks very good but you want to make it look better, not just different and, now, it just looks different. Keep up the good work but just don't go over the edge. BTW, how does a 19 year old go about buying all these nice cars?

Go even bigger on the cans. DD size at least.

Seriously, when 90% of the people in here say something looks like crap, probably means 90% of the people on the street looking at this are getting a good laugh as well. just a thought.

man, I KNOW im not color-blind, but i go back and look at the original photos and the wheel emblems look ORANGE to me. I think i may have been in school at UT too long.(the real UT, in Tennessee, but I can fight that out in 30 seconds)

I agree about the Tubi on a Buick, some things just dont work. But in a machine meant for driving enthuaists I can't imagine an owner trying to hear such an obnoxiously LOUD noise inside the vehicle and completely bypass the EXHAUSTive efforts of German engineers to manufacture the best pitch for the car. But you're right, it is yours. I wonder if the team of Masters degrees who designed the Chevy Caprice in 1979 thought brighter citizens would throw 33" rims on their hard work? Thats it, I'm over it

As for the CL, its fresh to death from AMG but theme it up. Rickross'd (white on white) would be a tight contrast to your black 6. otherwise I don't know how (or why) to tune an AMG.

Over all the look of the car is good, but I would change the exhaust and the red roundels, just my two cents. The important thing is that you like it!!

Okay I am not usually one to comment on how one mods their car because it is personal preference but my god that exhaust is ugly! It looks like it an ebay special to me but to each his own right? Peronsally although the stock exhaust most likely doesn't sound as good as that one at least it looks like it belongs on the car! The wheels on the other hand turned out great! I would put on some red time attack rings to break up all the black but other than that great job!

In the end the euro tuning scene is a different animal. I wouldn't say that we are behind the JDM scene but instead we are heading in a different direction. Yes, some styles do carry over between the jdm and euro scene but generally these two groups are going after different styles.

Exhaust looks different, i like it. Why must a M6 absolutely have quad tips?

It doesn't. I bet an M6 could pull off oval or maybe even rectangular tips. Dual tips are fine, just not those dual tips...

In all seriousness, and for your own benefit, and not to be rude, and for the sake of the car and the sanity of all on the forum...
I had come accross these pics of an AC schnitzer TENSION body kit with a great example of an acceptable exhaust system. Just food for thought.
