Fabspeed/PES 335i on dyno
#32
it's 14-15psi depending on your octane and user settings. That seems to be the range of most of the tunes available for the 335. Maybe PES figured something out. I can't wait to check it out in person. The tracks are opening soon, maybe they'll come out and show it off.

Ya but alot of people have had high boost spikes with that Procede thing some as high as 21psi if your modded beyond a chip I don't like how this tune isn't going to work with other mods.

Jeremy or Tony:
Does this "piggy back" system leave any trace in the ecu like raised rev limit, removed top speed gov, or increased boost that can be read or retrieved if the system is removed prior to a dealer service.
Very interested and will be ordering a 335 coupe in the next couple of months.
Adding this to the list of "options"

I don't think any of the piggybacks can be traced yet. What part of jersey ya in?

I'm concerned with the boost pressure leaving an indication. My concern is that I will be leasing one soon and am hesitant to go with "another tuner" because they flagged my current car with BMW, bought it, so not too big of a deal. May be an issue at lease return if it gets retained in the ecu, that's my only concern.

well considering a piggyback is tricking the factory ecu, there is nothing to leave a trace of. I work in morris plains if ya wanna check out the v2. My car has been to the dealer a few times, so far so good. And as far as that "other" tuner goes, their flash is too expensive anyway.
