Those cars are ment to be driven... But damn he was flogging the **** out of that thing in that video.
Even if I had $70k to blow on an S3 M5, I'd pass lol.

Overpriced! You can buy an early year e 39 M5 in the low 20's now.
And like you said, I'm sure that thing was a demo car, i.e. lots of hard use.

I am sure it is a great car and well design. Components are great but the price for for an 8 yr. old M5 (even as an S3) is to much.
Still it is a car with history.

It's a history to only those who know and appreciate a DINAN. Market value is way overpriced too, not to mention i don't like dinan cars. You could do the same on a bmw for much less.

NickyBlack you stated it as I felt but when I wrote my post I was trying to be politically correct. Stupid me!
You are absolutely correct. Dinan is a total rip-off.
Nothing they have produced for the E60 M5 has made any real hp.
They have a stroker motor for $50K plus which is okay but my ASR Engineering tuned M5 will kick its a$$.

I've always loved these cars; that's some impressive power it's pumping out. Too bad they're asking so much.

I don't think you could replicate the car for that price but, like everything else in life, it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it...

Juan, what the hell does your sentiment about Dinan have to do with this S3 for sale?? It's value will be what somebody's willing to pay; nothing more, nothing less.
For anyone to think its' performance envelope can be "replicated" for less $$ than asking price (and be as durable/reliable as S3s have proved to be), is pure fantasy. Many "name" after market tuners have tried to come up with a less expensive E39 M5 S/C'r alternative (including AA); and 'have failed. Period.

Ranger, i hate political correctness, and i agree with you. Too much $$$ for no HP. Your M5 by the way is sweet, along with your other little beasts.
And yes its value is what somebody is willing to pay for it. Tough market.
