[Rematch] Modded E92 M3 DCT vs. Tuned C63 AMG +59whp!

I posted up the original runs of my Modded M3 vs. my buddies C63 when he was stock- Here's those vids.

He then went out ASAP and got his ECU tuned, lol, can't blame him it's well worth it as you will see. The PC tune made +59whp! Here is the Rematch with the C63 and the PC tune. Good times, thanks for the runs Bro!

NP Bro!

Yes I'm running the stock exhaust (muffler), waiting on the AE exhaust!

Not a freak at all, everyone else is just finally starting to "get it" when it comes to the DCT M3.

DCT is so efficient in its power delivery that you dont need the super 500+ hp to play... its always to have it but all dyno hp in the world is nothing if its not transferred to the street. It uses the RPM range much better than the Benzes slushbox trannie. Its the main reason I got an M3 since I have the DCT in the GT-R.

Great vids as always Drew- unbiased and visually telling versus some of those night vids that others throw down. You can tell his throttle response is much improved but your M3 held its own--- basically a tie no??

Good comment.
I assume the 59 rwhp gain was dyno proven being such an exact number.
Actually for a naturally aspirated motor, just a tune to yield 50 plus rwhp sounds very lofty. Common for a turbo motor but an NA motor?

Wish such a tune existed for the M5/M6's.

What did they do?

I mean I'm just wondering.
I comprehend the efficiency of the DCT but outperforming > 100 rwhp defiicit is a head scratcher.

Cheers
Ranger

btw I know Curio that you are going to slam back.

The C63 is essentially the detuned version of the E63 which yields over 500hp. Most of the ECU tuners have found the maps to open up the hp that is there. Powerchip is one of them and its proven in these races. The previous runs with the same car in stock format (C63) showed that the M3 clearly pulls. Here, not so much.

Compare the detuned C63 in a way like the V10 R8 engine vs the Lambo LP560-4 ... same engine but the R8 gets detuned by about 40 hp.

The power is there, it just needs to be untapped.

nice runs bro, looked heads up, pretty impressive the C63 gained 4-5 CLs on a tune.

And whats all this freak motor stuff, haha, the m3 runs the ways its supposed to with all his mods and the DCT....keep in mind the c63 is also a heavier car and simply has a chip.

So, whats a Stg 3 S4, that'll pull 3+ CLs on both cars considered......a SUPER FREAK!!!
