That's what car carrier's are for.
I'd think his day job would interfer with getting to Cali more than him being in Florida.
CURIO, do you have your car all back together? Any upgrades recently?
Yes, actually back together this week, finally, and right on time No new upgrades yet, planning the next round of mods currently.
Of course he could ship it, but he would have to come with it as the owner is part of it as I understand it. Not saying he couldn't, but just does not seem practical.
Sorry to say guys but I'm out of consideration. The geography and logistics make it impossible. I have professionally related trips in Nov. and Dec. and can not take more time from the prsctice. My partners will cut my nutz off.
Does anyone know the details of this event?
I'm sure there are very worthy ///M owners to represent the brand.
btw the built TT S85 engine is very close. This has been a very intensive project to do it right.
Can I bring my SC'ed car ? Technically its not street legal as in not "carb certified" but I'm just asking if not. Then I vote DLSJ5 or CURIO for the M3 crowd. Either way I'd like to be present in the bleachers.

What happened to your car?

2009 BMW M3 Alpine White
2009 Nissan GT-R Ivory Pearl
2009 Lexus IS-F
VR is NOT involved with this current Royal Purple project. Guess who he talked to about sponsorship? Guess what network was interested in the show.
Wonder where the idea came from?
There are a number of sites that will be "pitched" against each other
Here is the lineup with vehicles:
- Dodge Challenger SRT-8 vs. Chevy Camaro SS
- BMW M3 vs. Audi RS4
- Chevy Corvette ZR1 vs. Dodge Viper SRT-10
- Mitsubishi EVO vs. Subaru WRX STi

- Nissan Z370 vs. Ford Mustang GT

At this stage it will be held @ Irwindale speedway Mid November.
He had temporary insanity and went back to stock to sell it, possibly for a GT3. That's the last I read.
There's a long thread on M3forum by "Sticky" if you're interested.
Don't know why he came back, but he did say he was happy with the current car, but not with the direction of //M.
I am capable of speaking for myself you know
Yes, had temporary insanity, thanks partially to Sharky. That 3.9 is ridiculous and I wanted it.
However, A. the car did not sell, and B. had a warranty issue that was a fight with BMW. I just got sick to my stomach dealing with them. Funny how nice they are when you buy 4 cars, but how they change when something goes wrong.
Yes, I love the M3, but have lost tremendous respect for BMW and M.
Curio sorry to read about your problem.
I do hear you about the Sharkwerks GT3/RS conversion. Since reading about it I have been unable to get out of my head. I mean 465 rwhp in a GT3/RS would be outrageous.
I'm seriously trying to budget this conversion for my GT3RS in 2010.
Buy a good clean low miles GT3 (~ 80's) and do it. Go for it!
btw I read that EVOM has built the crank for a 4.2 L conversion.
Think of the power.

You are exactly right and that is exactly what I was thinking, an '07 GT3 + the 3.9 = bliss. I tried to go down this road but cars are not exactly selling right now.
No big deal, I have had my M3 for exactly a year now and only driven it for maybe half that time. I'll enjoy it for a little while longer and at least see what it is like with a supercharger before I step up to something else.

Just trying to stimulate you to speak up.
