Hey aus,
Sharkwerks has developed an awesome conversion for the 997.1 GT3/RS.
They offer a 3.9 L conversion with cams and tune. The GT3RS has made 465 rwhp.
More great things are coming. Checkout the current thread on 6speed by FVD about all the exhaust capabilities offered.

His motor's in pieces right now. Gpower ran the wrong software and blew his motor. At least they're covering all repair costs.
Holy crap I hadn't heard. That's terrible news!
What's G-Power going to do? Get him a new motor?
I met him and saw the M3 with the G-Power kit at Bimmerfest last May.

This conversion applies to the 997.1 GT3 and not absolutely sure but do think it will also be available for the 996 GT3.
For the Sharkwerks conversion you must ship them the car. I believe they would plan to do no more than one per month.
I do not know of any other tuner doing this conversion.

Many Thanks!
I am looking at two GT3's now both 04's low miles....and totally unrelated a 94 964 Turbo 3.6....so seeing what types of mods. are available is part of the process for me, the aftermarket that I have researched are Fabspeed...& EVOMS.and lucky for me I have Farnsbacher-Loles right in my backyard for service & install...this would be my first Porsche.
Thanks Again for the info.

Well EVOMS works with Sharkwerks on the 3.9 conversion. EVOMS does the tuning and they work their magic.
Regarding exhaust systems to compliment your mods I would definitely checkout FVD. They will build you what you want.
Nice! Any interesting mods on your M3? Going to guess, Coilovers, exhaust, tune?
Yep, have exhaust, tune, pulley.
Suspension is kind of tough as I don't want to lose EDC and I'm not sure of the ride quality of the coil-overs out there. If someone has any suggestions, I'm open to it. Currently running H&R springs.
