I know a Porsche fanboi when I see one and you aren't. You can appreciate other badges. Congrats on the new beast. The car looks fantastic in white. I look forward to seeing the results.

That can be said about the M3 motor as well. Look at the OP's car! GM could have made it a 700hp car in a heartbeat but I'm not so sure it would still get 26mpg on the hwy. They'd also have to throw in more expensive parts and the cost would start creeping up and up. I think they're happy with a safe tune and safe boost and good price point while still making 556hp.

Agree 100%. The CTS-V motor is certainly conservatively tuned and boosted from the factory....lots of easy (i.e. cheap) additional hp to be had.
