It's the classic Inka orange from the 2002 :

The front splitter is nice. I bet we're going to start seeing more of it on the e9xs.

As I've said over at M5Board, this GTS is an awesome purpose built car (to compete with the GT3RS).
The issue is if any currnet E92 M3 owner put such a wing on the decklid, well I believe he would be blasted for such a dumb thing to do.
Now because it's factory the wing is cool?
Perceptions are funny.

I would think that is because if the average M3 owner were to put a wing like that on their car it is most likely not because they're looking for more downforce on the track... but rather just for aesthetic improvements... making said person a "poseur" (not that I agree, just stating)

When the factory puts a wing like this on a "purpose built" version of an M3, along with a number of other "function over form" type modifications its because they are actually looking to enhance track performance. Thus making it "non-poseurish"

Either way, this is one badass ride...

I think the color looks great on the 997 GT3, but the E92 M3 looks pretty stupid in that color.

The wing is just silly. I'd pay extra for them to not include it.

Holy $h!t Song we agree!!
I love BMW and this M3 GTS is awesome BUT the 2010 GT3RS will be awesome and has a base price of $135K (if you can get one, I'm trying).
This M3 GTS is supposedly $170K but anyway they aren't coming to the USA.
In a comparison I'd take the GT3RS.

To be completely honest, for $170k, the only question that comes to mind is: "why?"

How many times does it need to be said that it would not be 170k in the USA and that the price includes VAT before people get it?

Hey Ranger, that's definitely a first for us. I guess even supposed enemies can agree on something.

It just seems that for the price, you can get "more car", and I'd probably go GT3 over GTS and pocket the money I'd save for mods (wheels, etc), or even a nice dinner with the wife.

Seriously, almost 3x the price of a normal M3... I'd probably pass.
