Ben Liaw, co-owner of rogue engineering (www.rogueengineering.com) imported and legalized an M3 GT a few years back...not sure if he still has it or not.
Jon S., you're everywhere!
Sweet ACS M3! I recall you posting a little while back about your purchase...the original owner of that car was a member of bimmerforums if I remember correctly...what a collection of cars! Isn't one of the original ACS CLS 2's in hong kong as well? congrats!
Hey Sam, yeah been lurking in this board a while and finally got around in posting. Albert and them got me here. Good to finally meet you at bfest.
Wan88, you should pursue in getting this car next to add to your collection.
CLS II
This car is even more rare from what I know. CEC actually brought it in SEMA back in '96 i think it was and it sat in their showroom for a while.

The CLSII, there's only 1 left and it's in Japan where the owner did quite extensive modification to it plus race .... not really in the best condition as we might want it to be not to mention whether i can afford it. But yeah.... that's the most unique CLS of all.
Hey, I want your fenders ..... really want it for my E36 evo, anywhere I can get them in FRP at cheaper price ?
Hey thanks Joe I followed your trail here along with Albert a while back. I think it was when I last saw you guys at CC

Charles, good to meet you here too. Your car collection is amazing. I love that lip on that Z3... who makes that. I used to own a Hamann MRoadster.. fun lil car.
Does Appalooza in Japan owns the last CLSII? They also own the CLSI with a mesh type wheel... I have a couple of japanese book/magazine with pictures of both of them parked next to each other. I also got a Best Motoring Video with the CLSI as they tested it and beat every car. It was awesome.. I love that car. You're a lucky guy to own it.. hmm wanna trade?
As for my fender flares, it is actually made out of FRP but a fairly thick one -no wavy stuff. Esquiss (france) doesn't stock it but makes it only when they get an order. Ken from Karspec in HK just emailed me about it and he mentioned that a customer was inquiring about the kit and I'm guessing that might be you? I gave him the contact info for the US distributor but I think since you are in HK that you guys might need to contact Esquiss directly. You can email me at jonsibal@cox.net and I can tell you more about the flares.

He wasnt able to keep it in the states, even after his long and all the time he spent attempting to do so. He has since had a 330ti, the M3 Wagon Project Car and now owns an e39 M5.
This is like a BimmerForums section of 6Speed...Sam, Jon, Preppy posts here too...

yeah ... Apocalypse have both the CLS1 and CLS2 they're the one with the only 1 CLS2 left in the world. Although they basically trashed the originality of the car by tracking it and doing this and that which makes the car not in concourse condition, I must say they do use the hell out of the car and as far as I know, they've won many Eurocar races in Japan.
Curious, if you dont mind me asking... how much did you pay for the CLS in US$? If your rather not say, I understand. Im just trying to get a feel for the general range in terms of pricing.
