I love it that even Ferrari owners need to save a few bucks here and there!
It's not about saving $'s. I'd prefer to powder coat them, but it is the time and work involved to remove the calipers, disassemble them, then re-assemble them, install them, bleed the system, etc.
I understand, as I too would rather paint them instead of having to remove everything to have them powder coated as well.
What is funny is that I would have thought that a Ferrari owner would just pay a dealer to do it. If not to save time, but also to have documented records showing that it was professionally done etc. Major props to you for wanting to do it yourself though. I'll bet you actually drive your Ferrari too unlike some owners that I know.

I enjoy working on my car, and I have no intention of selling it. It will just be part of the collection. So it matters not to me whether I do the work or a 2nd party does the work. Documented records have little value to me.
I am in the process of rearranging my garage to install a lift so I can do more work on the cars.
Mine is a 2000, and I have not yet broken 12,000 miles!!! Only seen rain once because the sky opened. Was the first time I used the wipers. That was 2 years ago!!!
So does anyone know anyplace to get calipers powdercoated?
Check page 1, I posted his info

I painted mine using hi-temp ceramic paint in spray.
I love them!

This looks beautiful for sure but i figure that since I am going to do new braided brake lines, replace rotors with Girodisc, and replace the pads, I might as well get them powder coated and then rebuild them.
Painted them on the car. Just removed 2 wheels at a time.

Well Joe I liked the all yellow look after seeing yours DAM YOU!! so guess what I have been doing today ? Yes painting my calipers ,I went with the Duplicolor yellow Ceramic paint in a spray can to get a better OEM look like yours and it looks simply AMAZING!! .Guys, the spray is the way to go trust me I have tried both now and there is no comparison to the Spay cans smooth look .I did my front brakes pads as well so tomorrow I am painting the rears .I Just took 1 wheel off at a time and sanded and Masked and it all went smooth ,I really like it better then the G2 or the Duplicolor brush on stuff. Thanks joe
