Concerning the paint, have you considered going with a color flipping paint? Nothing overly dramatic as that could cheapen the look, but say a silver with a blue back, or maybe perhaps a silver to orange?
Are those the add-on pieces for quarters and front fenders? I think I saw one of those before at a show.
Not too bad looking.
Yeah, they are the add-on style for the front fenders and rear quarters...
And wow, the updated pictures of your cars with the rockers on is starting to paint the picture for me... really makes a huge difference with the rockers!

Thanks. There's still a few things I'm having to work on. But I'm liking it, and it's coming together as I had envisioned it (with the help of the Gemballa Avalanche for inspiration). But, boy the hours rack-up quickly.
I am really hoping to pull off the look of a one-of-a-kind Boxster that Gemballa "should" have built. And have it look just as good as the $400K 997's. Steep task.

No updates yet. Believe it or not we are still working on the rockerpanels. The driverside is 100% right now while the passenger side is at about a "70% there" status. ;o) By the end of tomorrow (wed) it should be 95%. I would have never guessed the rockers would have given us such a hard time (fitting and making them look "right"). They've been almost as much work as the quarter panels. I'm seeing light at the end of the tunnel though. I'm going to guess the paint will be done somewhere around next month this time.
We're making molds of the parts (right on the car) so I don't have to buy parts again & try to make them fit (for a future car)
Also, the front fenders have gone through so much work too (the vent) I don't want to ever go through that again. The mold
process will be delaying things for a few weeks.
