I am VERY close to pulling the trigger on this --- can someone chime in on shop/labor costs (without the clear bra)
Thanks!

I am 100% with ya on this -Just changes the front end soo much in a good way . would like to do the rear in GT-3 as well ,
I am also going with the 996 headlight covers like the Gt-3 cup cars as well!! Pay day cannott come soon enough!!
how could you not like this? the GT-3 is the dream machine but the Cayman looks like it needs the Gt-3 Front and Rear bumpers in my opinion.
I hate the bumpers on my Cayman.they are so boring .
In a perfect world the Cayman would have Gt-2 or Gt-3 style Front and rear bumpers and side skirts and a speed-art rear wing.
If speed-Art would ever get a clue and lower the price to about 1/2 of what they want for the 987 rear wing they would sell off the shelves
Com on now speed art can it really cost almost 2K to make a rear wing?
get that under 1K and then were talking.Heck you can get a Gt rear wing for the cayman for under $1,700. and a Gt-3 rear Bumper for $1,295
anyone have a connection with Speed-Art? http://www.gmpperformance.com/index....large&IMG=8428

Where are you located?
I will find out the "out the door" price in the morning!
We are about to do another one.....I plan to share with everyone as well!
I personally love the look of the GT3 Style bumper on the Cayman, it just "wakes" it up....if you know what I mean!
If you guys have any questions, feel free to PM me!
I am curious: How many cayman's have 3M clear bra's?

That might be your opinion, but in my eyes adding that rear wing completely "rices" the car.
For me those kinds of additions should be "form follows function" just like on the GT3 (where they did a lot of testing to improve the aerodynamics and remove lift on the car). The day they make a +400hp Cayman RS I would consider it useful (if the kit was developed in a correct way by Porsche and not in a "check out my huge spoiler" way).
For me a standard Cayman S with 19" and some lowering is just perfect.
Was at the Track and this little 217 HP car passed me (pissed me off)then a little 189 HP car Passed me(I really got pissed) and both were smoking the 400HP cars in every way . WTF!
I guess the owners should not bother modding their Lotus Elise's untill they have 400HP . darn rice burners.
You buy a porsche to OWN a Porsche and in Most cases not to have the fastest car on the road in my opinion.
To Each is own ir_fuel .besides the aftermarket co's Need US mod freaks to survive !!!
