Casey,
I'm going to follow this build with great interest. A couple of questions:

1. Are you fitting these items up as you go? Is this a mule? I noticed the tubing in the last photo. It appears that this you are fitting up the tubing from the exhaust to the turbo.
2. What is the orange pliable hose coming from the exhaust of the turbo to the intake of the engine? Is this the final material to be used for this project? I know that this is low pressure, but is it rated for the heat load?

3. Would this settup fit a 3.8L 997 motor?

I'm not a skeptic, by the way. I know you guys build good cars.

Dave

Dave, being that the engine bay is a bit smaller on the 986 it does require some adjustments but they arent all that terrible. All of the parts are the ones that we put on our 987S turbo cars... sold over 100 kits now all over the world with no issues.

We installed a version of this kit on Itmerc's widebody 987S. That car has a 3.8l x51 and with some adjustments our parts fit just fine... Being as your car is kind of a one off it would require install at our shop to make everything fit correctly.

Interesting! I've got a 1998 Boxster with a pre E-Gas 3.4L from a 99' (996)

Can you send me details on the kit via PM?

How is the kit cooled (i.e. Air cooled or A/W)?

I'm a turbo guy but from the VW world and my first Porsche is a 3.4L converted Boxster.
