The aftermarket H7 HID bulb has a wire run from the tip of the bulb to the bottom. When on, it projects the shadow of the wire to the ground, one on each side.

No overheating/melting issues within the housing as far as I can tell.

You can install resistors to the side markers to remove the warning. How about license plate light? Planning to change it to white?

I changed all the light including the fog, license plate city light and all the interior.
Side marker is the only error I got. I don't know why.... Could you send me the link of resistors?

I think you can get it from RadioShack. But I am not sure what ohm. I am not really good at electronics.

Install/turn the bulb 180 degree from its orginal position. You have to trim/cut a little plastic on the base of the bulb in order to fit it in the socket. This will remove the shadow.

BINGO! thats all you needed to do. i am also playing with washers to get a better cut off with more colours. i find the cut off to be very dull right now.

maybe i should get some raptors. stupid ddm ballasts always throw me an error. i am guessing the raptors are one unit while the old ddm ones are ballast and ignitors separate?
