I was thinking the same thing. The hoops don't look like then ones on a boxster. They look like the ones that are hidden and pop out when a 911 cab rolls over.
Looks like a 997tt cab. To me it looks like it caught on fire and that's why it looks this wrecked, because the shape of the structure looks pretty intact.

dang god bless those people in the car. and if 3 people survived, clearly its a 997 turbo cab. it has the side intake as well as the circle headlights. and it must have been airborne for quite a time.
