Issues with APR tune on 06 Cayman S

Hi, I'm posting this for a friend who is not familiar with forums. He recently added APR hi flow headers, full catless exhaust, and tune to his 2006 Cayman S. Since then the software has been giving him a lot of issues. Mainly cat inefficiency codes. Is anyone on here running catless using APR software and not having any issues?

Thanks

Is he having issues with the car running properly or is he just annoyed at the fault code lights?

Rooster,
It would be helpful to have a list of the fault codes and/or a description of the problems. There are some very technically proficient folks on this board that are more than willing to help.

Still getting a lot of inquiries regarding the 3.8L conversion, so here you go:

The car is running too rich. The cel lights seem to be bugging him too. I'll ask him if he has the codes.

The shop that installed everything read and cleared the codes to try to solve his issues. I'm waiting for him to get back to me with the actual codes. I believe they were related to the rear O2 sensors(or lack there of). The exhaust has a heavy gas odor as well.

I'm sure that the more technical folks are awaiting the codes. However, I think you'll find that catless exhaust systems will smell a lot differently than a car with catalytic converters. The whole purpose of the cats is to burn the long chain hydrocarbons before they get out of the exhaust.

My $.02.
