I got 7% off my 09 CS in June. The car was equipped the way I wanted it and the service writer at the dealer has always taken care of me. I could have picked up another 1-2% at another dealer but it didn't seem worth it.

On an '09, there is 10-11% margin + $6K recently announced trunk money (dealer incentive). I just purchased mine last week and despite the fact that I knew about and actively tried negotiating a large portion of the trunk money into the deal, most dealers wouldn't bite. There are VERY few 09 CS's left out there and the dealers know it. There will also be fewer units built for MY 2010. I ended up around 12% off. I could have pushed harder for more but I felt it was a fair price for getting the car I wanted.
If you want a serious discount, be prepared to either travel a long distance or have an incredibly flexible wish list for options/colors.
man, get the c2s.... caymans are cool, but the c2s is the big boy, look for a 05 or 06 you could get the m for around 45 to 50 grand?

Best of luck.
Hi,
Do you know if the $6k incentive is still in effect? The edmunds or kbb site doesn't say anything about this.
