Nice, I'm a big fan of the carrara white. That's what I'm going to order.

As you can see the roof is in two pieces. One for the top... which was in the press photos (can be used just for sun protection by itself) Then there is a second piece that seals the side windows across the back for more rain protection. At this point I can't tell if it seals 100%, but it does seal more than the original press photos imply.

The Boxster Spyder is up on the German Porsche car configurator. It looks like a full complement of options are available--including the missing A/C, cupholders and radio (even PCM). I wonder how many buyers will actually spec out a bare-bones model?

Want. BADLY.

EDIT: Just noticed it's on the UK site, too.

Yeah, it was up the day it was released... I wonder when it will be available for the US. One thing I find odd is that in all the press photos it has the radio delete and the sport chrono both... The configurator won't allow that. It forces you to order a radio of some kind to get it. Also I noticed that in the UK, the steering wheel, shifter and hand brake aren't available in alcantara, yet in Germany it is. I hope those alcantara goodies are available stateside. I guess we won't know until we get order guides.

Automotive perfection.

Even Ferrari would be proud of this.
