Please excuse my ignorance...

Im not much of a fan for the Cayman (not usually anyway), so I dont know all the mods you can do to one. Is the Porsche in this particular picture a Cayman? If so, Im really diggin' it. This one was/is at SEMA this year (I didnt take the pic).

Looks like a cayman with a GT3 bumper + a wide body kit.

I like the wheels.

I think the wheels is what I like best. They really seem to suit the car well. I also like the front. Thanks for the reply.

Yep. Definitely a Cayman. Are there spacers on the front wheels? They look pretty far out to me, but I'm not really a Cayman expert..

HRE wheels, GT2 front bumper, custom widebody, TPC turbo and I believe an 3.8 X51. There should be a thread around here somewhere on it.

If this bumper is 1/2 the asking price, I'd be all over it...

Smaj is correct:

http://www.teamspeed.com/forums/boxs...-cayman-s.html

I signed up for that forum just to learn more about this amazing car. Its simply perfect.

I was disappointed though; it was on the cover of european car a few months back, but the article only scratched the surface on the build. The thread above has a lot more juice.

Josh@TPCRACING will become famous soon enough
That is a very special car indeed. It features a complete widebody kit from Patrick Patritti. It features a GT2 front bumper with Carrera GT inspired sides. The rear draws from the 959, CGT, and GT3, with an very nice carbon diffuser to round things off. All this widened the car by 3.5" up front and 7" in the rear.

The 3.8L X51 swap was performed by Kinetic Motorsport before the car was shipped to us. Then it was time for some more goodies including the TPCRacing Cayman Turbo Kit. Because of the engine's larger displacment, we were able to upgrade the turbo to a larger unit. In it's current state of tune it's achieving +500whp. But wait, there's more...
It also features the full TPCRacing suspension treatment including Swaybars, drop links, toe links, and JRZ RS Pro Coilovers.
But wait, there's more!
At this point everything else had been upgraded to handle the power except the transmission, so we installed an upgraded Light Weight Flywheel and clutch combo.
But wait, THERE'S MORE!
To help bring everything to a stop, we upgraded the brakes to Cup Car components including uprights, calipers and rotors.

And yes even with the MASSIVE HRE Wheels, there are 2" spacers behind each one!

This car was created to be the Ultimate Cayman. And it may very well be.

Cost = a lot.

I'd take that over a 911 twin turbo no question.

I think it's interesting... although the rear bumper bugs me with the cheap mesh.

Let me know if anyone has any questions about the GT3 bumper swap.

We have installed many...

Have a great day
