There are a number of sponsors who offer exhausts that sound great and look great, but the only sound provided comes from a video of a 981 sitting still in a garage bay or on the street at their shop.
From my perspective, and in this day of GoPro, I'd MUCH rather hear the car as it goes through the gears at full throttle with a camera latched on to the bumper.
That will give me the feedback on sound that I need to make a decision.
The video itself is just eye candy, but the sound of driving acceleration and deceleration is musical, as opposed to the noise of revving to 4,500 and down.
