Porsche 981 Boxster/S & Cayman/S Ohlins Road & Track Coilovers - GMP Performance
981 owners, are you ready to level up your drive? Öhlins has released their Road and Track coilovers for your Boxster or Cayman.
About R&T Coilovers
A more than 30 year long tradition of high-end racing commitments
and state-of-the-art solutions within advanced suspension
technology is now available for street cars all over the world.
The focus has been clear from the very beginning – superior road
handling without sacrificing comfort in your day-to-day transports.
The time of compromises is over.
We have also added a clever light-weight design with a majority of
the parts in aluminium and on top of that all shocks have suffered
through vast corrosion tests according to ISO9227. The end result
is a 2-year limited warranty on all of our products - worldwide.
Öhlins Road & Track team has extensively tested a wide variation
of springs to find the right balance between road and track use.
By testing in different conditions on road as well on track, the listed
spring rate is what we strongly recommend you to use.

Now what is DFV, you may ask? It stands for Dual Flow Valve technology – and it sets Öhlins apart from our competitors. Only Öhlins has DFV technology on its road and track products.
With DFV, the dual flow valve gives the same characteristics on rebound as it does on compression, thanks the damper fluid having a consistent path of flow in both directions. This means that the wheel and tyre can quickly and effectively resume their important position back on the ground, providing grip and traction. The new Öhlins R&T range uses DFV technology on every single fitment, making it the perfect upgrade for the enthusiast that needs comfort and agility in the one unit.

Typically around 2.5" of adjustment for most coil overs. I can certainly check on the exact specs if you have a certain goal in mind. Is your goal performance or to lower the car as much as possible?
The 2012 Cayman R is a 987 Cayman, which will be a different kit than the 981 system. Ohlins has a 987 kit in development, and we offer a few other brands for the 987 as well.
