I thought bank 2 was driver's side in USA. Isn't it? Hopefully, because I just ordered an air induction pump for bank 2 and was told its the one on the left while facing the engine, but that would be opposite on rear engine Porsches? Which is it? I'm replacing the air induction pump on the opposite side as the oil fill, thinking that's bank 2? USA Driver's left side. Right? I'm asking about my Cayenne 955 Turbo. Thanks for any input.

Bank 1 is the side that contains cylinder number 1.
Cylinders 1-4 are on the right side of the engine.
Left and right are defined sitting in the drivers seat looking forward (SAE definition).
So sitting the car, looking forward, bank 2 would be the left side , or USA driver's side.

Great. So I have the code for the bank 2 air induction insufficiency, cleared it and installed my new driver's side air induction pump on my 04 Cayenne Turbo. My old one was about half disintegrated on the blower fins and lots of tiny particles of plastic in the pump. New one is in. Drove for several hours with a noticeable improvement in just a smoother feeling engine, but then the CEL came on again. Same code... Thinking a stuck valve or post-cat oxygen sensor now. Any ideas?
