295/45-20 tires. Does it work?? Input needed
Looking for different options of tire sizes. Decided to get a set of 20's but don't want to run 275/40-20. I'm torn between 275/45 0r 295/45. Does the 295 works with no rubbing? Just affraid of rubbing on turns and such due to the diameter.
295/45-20 30.5 diameter
275/45-20 29.8 diameter
275/40-20 28.6 diameter
295/35-21 29.1
285/35-22 29.9
Input needed.

the possible issue with rubbing aside.
you realise that by changing to 295 (20cm wider) and going up a profile (45, as opposed to 40) the overall rolling aspect is hugely altered
your speedo will be off by up to 10mph (ticket time
)
just rough gusses.
ok, just checked, speedo will be out 4.38 mph.
275x40 dia is 728mm
295x45 dia is 773.5
circumfrence is 2287.08 mm
295 tyres is 2430.02mm
difference is 142.38mm (thats a lot....)
your choice.
