question on keyless entry and ignition

question on keyless entry and ignition
Just gotten my new 2011 cayenne ..
Came with keyless entry option , realized there's no start / stop ignition button only a keyhole for turning on the ignition.
Been using the key for the past few times till the dealer asked me to put in the black 'dummy' looking ignition key.
They told me its suppose to be the ' ignition button ' replacement so that I don't have to put the key in.
But it looks kinda out of place and kinda big to be put and left in the ignition hole . Is it meant to be like that?
Thanks

yup...thats what it is...its not like the push button ones......its like having a key stuck on the ignition and it wont come off...they want to be different...designer must be drunk when he designed it...lol..
don't worry car's not going anywhere without the orig. key(transponder) around you...

I've thought of checkin on this too. Has to be an aftermarket company that makes a slim insert. Let me know if so, bc I've seen the bulky insert and am not a fan. Hen I receive my CTT I will start looking for something slimmed.
