My 2006 Cayenne Turbo has been in storage for a while but I had to move it a few feet so I could move some stuff around in the garage. When I turned off the ignition the warning tone that the lights have been left on continued to buzz and the parking lights remained on, even after I made sure that the light control was turned counter closckwise as far as it can go (the off positioin), the ignition switch (Entry and Drive system) was in the lock position, and in addtion used the remote to lock up the car. Thinking it mmight be part of the timer opperation I left the garage but when I returned an hour later the park lights remained on. After several episodes of starting and turning off the ignition with no luck, eventually ,after I moved the car again a few more feet and shut off the ignition the lights and buzzer finally went off.... strange. Any similar experiences with the light switch? Am I forgetting some part of the Porsche shut down procedure or sensors that detect I haven't moved the car far enough????

 

Never had that type of incident but I have had the continuous buzzer only to discover the turn signal was not shut off, same result as I tried everything wondering what the hell was wrong, only to figure it out...Done that twice now...Never learn, stupid thing.
