'11 V-6 Towing Experience

Anyone have any experience with the new V-6 Cayenne race car towing capabilities in an open trailer?

Know factory claims towing capability is 7,700 lbs, but that is on level ground testing. Just not sure if the new V-6 has enough torque? A V-8 (CS) is a sure thing, but is an overkill for my specific daily driving (without a trailer).

Actually, the V6 tip, CS, and CT all have the same towing capacity (7716 lbs) per the owner's manual, but the manual V6 has a lower capacity (5952 lbs). Surely, the CS and CT will tow that weight much easier...

Suspect you are towing total of about 4,500 lbs? The weight of our Supra Launch (great ski boat) is same as a 911 ~ 3,250 lbs? Your trailer 1,000 lbs? Boat wet with fuel and trailer 4,500 lbs?

If so, how is it on mountainous roads and braking? Any special equipment for the Cayenne? TIA.
