So I have heard and read so may things I would like to hear from anyone who has painted their trim if it really has been an issue of fading/flaking etc..

Painting seems to be an easier and more cost effective way to Blacking out my Cayenne.

just get vinyl......reversible and will give you a good 2-4 years of trying it out.

 

I agree 110%... that is what most of the BMW guys I know do for their window trip to change it from chrome to black. Cheap too... only about $100

 

Wow never heard of that option. Any idea where on the West coast they do that?

 

in socal, i bet all you need to do is google vinyl wrap and you'll get some google map hits.
