My Cayenne had some work done recently at the dealership and they fixed the security button (keeps the rear passengers from using the windows, etc.) and had the door apart, I'm sure, in order to replace what needed to be replaced.

Now, when ever I lock/alarm my Cayenne, the fuel door unlocks and pops open and the door switch that should open the door doesn't work. It never did this before. They said a control module in the door now needs to be replaced and fortunately since we just bought it, the dealership is going to repair for free as well as some other issues that popped up shortly after taking it home. (Kudos to Carrera Motors for taking care of their customer)

Just wondering your thoughts as to why it is doing this now, as in did they short something or ???

If remember correctly, it needed some new switch for the fuel door.

 

Put the new switch in still no good =(
