Hi! I bought an 04 CTT about a month ago. While I've had it its been an interesting experience. I love the power and all the amenities BUT I've already been through the intiation with the coolant tubes and a few other niggling problems. I bought an aftermarket warranty to hopefully defer most of the out of pocket stuff. Its in the shop now being tended to. Been over on RennList and Renntech looking through known issues and hope after this latest episode I'm good to go for a while.

Congrats I just bought a black/black 05 CTT a few months ago. Been pretty good to me so far. Just a few issues with some of my mods (lowering links, dension unit, etc), but that's what normally happens when you start modifying stuff.

Enjoy the new rig.

Welcome aboard, I have seen your threads on both forums and was hoping you would not be discouraged. Glad to see you are working through your issues and still appreciate your car. I love mine, other than loud brakes and can't wait to mod her some more in the spring.

Congrats and welcome! I just hit the one year mark with my 04 CTT. I love it although once you catch the "mod" bug you're screwed...bypass pipes, evoms, ecu upgrades, lowering kits...pure madness!

Btw, stay tuned I'll be posting some mods for sale in the marketplace: lowering links, complete nav/audio system and a Dension Gateway system.

Thanks again for the welcomes! I appreciate it. How much HPs we talking about with bypass pipes and ECU upgrades? Does the ipi intake mod really add 30 hp like the claim says?

Heck if I can own a classic Ferrari, I can stomach almost anything!

Good question, I haven't done the ECU or the ipi. I did the bypass pipes and like the results but the biggest gains are through ECU, from what I understand. I'm waiting to hear on the Upsolute ECU upgrade. It only costs around $700 and if it gets similar gains to the other options at twice the price I might go for it. There was a recent post by Cole in this forum and he'll probably dyno it in the coming weeks and report back.

Yeah i saw his posting about how quickly he was able to get it done. If the pricing is decent I may do that with a quickness.

Btw congrats to the original poster. It's a good feeling I picked up my used CTTS a month ago. I proactively got the coolant tubes done. Didn't want to have to worry about when my time was going to come and have it indirectly affect other things.

Congratulations! Same year and color as mine, just different wheels and exhaust tips. Thankfully mine had most of these repairs done prior to my ownership! Enjoy your new ride.
