FYI, it is possible to remove the little plastic light bulb housing, say you accidentally have the bulb drop out of it's socket in there. Just remove the 4 screws at the corners of the mirror. You'll have to flex the mirror housing plastic a little bit, but it can come out.



It also makes it a lot easier to reach everything if you undo the connector to the mirror glass.



Also, the mirror housing can flip toward the front of the car to make things more accessible.

Roxboxx the link to your ebay vendor did not work for me. Can I use any t10 style bulb or do you have a new link to the vendor where you got your bulbs?

I didn't see resistor in your picture. so ECU works ok with the T10 bulbs you have put on? No warning sign on dash? I too want to LED my carbin. lol

Any tips on removing the rear cargo-light housing? I have plastic pry-tools commonly used by interior installers... just not sure where on the housing to pry from.
