speaker/door panel vibration
I am fairly new with forums ...
Got a 2005 Cayenne turbo with Bose
When listening to music with about half way volume, I can hear vibrations coming from the sides. Dealer checked and its not the speakers but its the door panels
They want $300 to take panels off and put some kid of insulating tape!
Has anyone else had this issue and how was it fixed ? I think dealer is way over charging !
Thanks,

Yes I have the same problem on the drivers side. At first I thought it was a blown speaker. On mine all it takes is a little pressure to stop the sound. When it comes back I just press on the panel and it quits for quite a while. It's just something I live with.

I had the same thing but it wasn't the door panel it was the little **** for the side mirror adjustment. I went and found a rubber o ring at the hardware store and stuck it in behind the **** to stop the rattling.

I'm having the same problem on the driver's side door. I asked the audio dept @ Best Buy and they're saying its one of my speakers. After finding this thread I'm going to have the dealer check it out. Thanks for the info & another point of view.

I had the same thing on my Cayman. Mine did it with certain bass notes, though. The dealer pulled the door off, put some felt or something in there, and it's been great since. Didn't charge me $300, though. Oh, and I don't have the upgraded Bose, just standard.
