'11 Cayenne V6 Turbo Kit Posibility

so, i've been in touch with the guys at HPA (Google Them). They do a lot of work on the VR6 engines. They are readying their release of a new kit which they say could be adapted to our Cayenne's if the interest was there. Who would be interested in this? I assume its about a year away. Let me know and i'll relay the info. Maybe we can get a kit made afterall

Looks like it'll take it up to 470 HP for 29,000 euros.

Might be better to trade in and get an 'S'

They also have a kit for the 3.6.

Anyone here who thinks you can almost double the HP from a fuel engine for less in a reliable way is wrong...
Unless you can DIY

Getting a TT is a much better way I agree

btw, HPA is a dealer for them

def not looking to double hp! 400whp would be a nice goal and i think its attainable on these motors with close to factory reliability. I've been moding cars for a while and you're always taking a risk, but in my opinion, its more fun to build your own Plus, i've got a 6sp, remember?

HPA is working on releasing their 20th anniversary kit for the VR4 platform (VW's right now) that will be under $10k. This is what they're talking about adapting to our car if there's interest. For that price, i think its a great option. If anyone's interested in exploring this further, shoot me a PM.

Yeah but as soon you put yourself (or your tuner) one tool to your 2011 porsche you won't have 0 warranty...

Imagine getting for the same money a 07 or 08 turbo and then spending 10K in modding, you'll have a 700HP monster

That's so much cooler

I'm really intrigued by this, but I haven't taken delivery of the car yet so not sure if I'll really need much more power. I take delivery on monday so I guess I'll find out real soon!

the combination of a lighter weight/better balanced VR6, manual transmission, and a turbo sounds pretty fantastic.

I think when my warranty runs out this would be the perfect option to keep me interested in the car, instead of going out and buying something new.
