Sold the X5 and picked up a Pepper...
New Cayenne owner here!
I've owned a dozen BMWs and after our second X5 was getting up there in age, we decided to pick up an 06' Cayenne.
Pretty happy so far. One owner, super clean, low miles and an extended factory warranty.

Thanks.
I Already replaced the amber lenses with genuine Porsche euro lenses.
Wheels are next. Still contemplating on 20's or 22's either sport technos or something BBS mesh style with a polished lip.

Awesome so you are modding it,schweeet. If it's a daily driver make sure you get as much tire on there as possible thats my only suggestion. I ran 22" OZ Canyons on mine and I just wish I had a little more meat on the tires I think I ran 285/35/22s all around and it sucked. Also Fabspeed makes some great exhaust and intake parts as well that make it even more enjoyable to drive. I think you can run a 284/45/22 and still work but you may want to double check first.

Just to offer a different opinion: I'm running 245/60/18s on the OEM turbo wheels. The grip is fine for a daily driver (I'm not autocrossing it), and the larger tires soften the bumps a little (winter roads are suck-tastic here in the Poconos).
