3 months free. Mine just expired, I haven't subscribed yet because the sound quality is so poor, all the more apparent with the Burmester sound system.

Initial cars: 3 months.
Mine (Late Jan delivery): 24 months.
+ 1 for the audio quality or lack thereof that becomes apparent on the Burmester (like watching nonHD programming on a 50 inch HDTV).

w00t, you got 24 months free? How was an initial car defined? Mine certainly wasn't a launch car, I waited about 6 months for it.

I called XM to buy the lifetime on our '11 - I thought I had 90 days free.
They told me the account was good for 24 months - never discussed with the dealer when we ordered it.

I heard with the Burmester, it is 1 year included.
NOT SURE AT ALL on this though, just something I have heard.
On previous P cars with XM 3 months is standard.
we will see.
