Spark Plugs ??
#16
I've got a -07 957 Turbo with 185.000km. I took it to the local Porsche dealer the other for a major service. They agreed to get me the NGK Iridiums, but phoned back and told me, that they will not work well with the Turbo, and they recommend the BERU Platium, i.e. the stock plugs. I know they are garbage, and that's why I wanted to upgrade in the first place.
I'm simply looking for a confirmation, that the NGK Iridiums work fine, and are, indeed, a big upgrade from the OEM plugs.
I drive the car hard on German Autobahns and Alpine roads, it lives in both hot and cold climates, so I need the very best spark plugs.
Thanks a lot for your comments!

I just bought E3s - Having them installed (also changing out the coil pack) this weekend. I can let you know how they work after I get them installed. I read some previous reviews which was why I went with them but NGK seems to be a favorite. I purchased them at advanced auto for $40 - I have a mechanic here that's going to install the plugs and coils for $240. Coils were just under $400 so $440 (parts) and $180 for labor - $620 total, I can't complain! Also, if you haven't thought about changing out the coils, have them checked too!
