Discount Tire wont install my 22s

They said they're no tires that will fit the 22s on my cayenne with the correct pressure load.

They do sell 285/35/22s but cannot find a tire that fits the pressure load specific. something about .109 hmmm...

What tires do you guys have? and size? discount tire refuses to sell and install them

just look for another tire shop. Our local Costco won't do them either. Some other shops won't install sizes beyond 20" because they're not equipped for it.

As for tire recommendation - I find tirerack.com very helpful as their site has the feature that will indicate tires suitable for your vehicle.

Good luck with the hunt

Yeah, go to tirerack's site and search for recommended installers. Call first!

I am running the Hankook Ventus ST RH06. So far so good, and they come with a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty. These are also available through discounttiredirect.com so the store should be able to order them for you. Also they are rated at about 2,000lbs per tire.

I just left discount tire again. They said the cayenne load index is rated at 109. Most 22 inch tires are rated at 102 or 106. They said 22s work and fit but they cannot install them. Sad

Yes the Hankooks are 106 also. Just tell them to order them for you and then bring the wheels in off the car, have them mounted and balanced, and then take them home and install them yourself. I did it in about 30-45min. Or you could always go to Joe Schmoe's shop and get them installed there. If you order them online they will ship for free.
