Welp, turned on my 145k ride to find a dead touchscreen today. The touchscreen was completely white and black with about a 1/4" blue line running up and down it vertically.

I drove around for a bit, and the display turned back on, completely washed out, with the line still there.

Eventually it returned to what it should look like, well, pretty close atleast, but the blue line still is there.

I know it's an LCD and I've seen this crap happen before on low end LCD's.

Anyone have any issues with theirs?

 

Take pictures and bring to dealership. No issues with mine as of now. Sometimes I get little number zeros' across screen as it goes from park to reverse or a millisecond then they disappear.

 

Looks like there is a known issue with Porsche displays. Looks like Bosch had a soldering issue and that is what is causing the problem. The display was on this morning, then went out after visiting the dealer. I have video of the problem occurring and will post it later.
