I went ahead and ordered the 3" primary/secondary cat deletes from HHR.

 

Updates, yes! Absolutely what I was looking for. I will get into the details soon but very happy with the outcome. I will update this thread with videos and explanation of my above statement.

 

Awesome man I'm sure you will be happy either way. I actually have the primary delete from them.
They actually were in the running but too many promises and the full 3" system is not ready for prime time.

Chatted with Hank the other day about the full system. He is working on it. He is supposed to have a 955 in shop soon to template jigs then he will be making a few "trial" runs. I volunteered to be a guinea pig if he needs. I am very happy with his secondary delete pipes and have been toying with ordering the primaries as well.

Couple good folks to ask here, how tough are the primaries to get to and swap? I didn't think the secondaries were that tough, it was just breaking loose (or breaking off) the old nuts that was tough.

Looking forward to hearing the B&B system too. Always good to have options.

The 955 for the template is in my sig! I'll be dropping it off soon for them, and I'll have a review once it's all done. Hank and Rob have been working very hard on not only catching up from Leistung but getting ahead for future orders. Also added will be 3" X-pipe in the rear/mid-section.

 

The B&B full 3" system is up for sale. It includes the secondary all way to the muffler minus the exhaust tips. Retails for $2200 or something. First $1900 takes it. I will post it in the classified section shortly.

 

Hurry up and drop you vehicle off soon! The driver side bypass he sent me to replace my Leistung set-up with the broken hangers didn't fit worth a sh*t; it rattles against the transmission crossmember constantly and the "improved" brackets make no difference. It simply isn't built right. He's going to send a replacement, but won't until he gets a 955 in to fix his jig.

 

I think they want it Oct 6th for several days. I already have primary and secondary bypasses, looking forward to full 3", X-pipe, better muffler and better flowing tips. I'm just going with fabspeed tips for now, they may not be the best but they're a lot better than stock from what I'm told. Also got a sweet deal on a real TechArt hood that will be going on probably after the exhaust.

I actually had Rob from Leistung Motorsports build me an X pipe which will fit the factory mid pipes and it comes with clamps. It is brand new. Looking for $350 if anyone needs it let me know? Sitting in may garage.

No as it mates with the factory mid pipe. It was designed for someone that wants the sportier and deeper sound without changing out the entire factory mid pipes.
