Anyone know if the 04-06 hitch is the same as the 08+? I found a few used 04-06' OEM hitches for a few hundred but from my searches I come up with conflicting info. Some say the mounting points are different and some say they work fine with the 04-09' models.

Just looked into this in the PET catalog for you and it looks like the right part number for a 957 Cayenne is 95550531312.

When I cross-reference this part number, it says that it only fits 2007-2010 Cayennes.

So you might not want to take a chance with a 955 tow/hitch bumper. Hard to imagine it is that different though.

Also, you want want to take a look at this:

sinister05CTT,

If you haven't already paid for this, you too might want to check out the ECS link in post #36 and DIY. Much cheaper than $2K

There are more differences between the models.. off the top of my head, the intercoolers, brakes , aero package including rear bumper and spolier, completely revised air suspension and level control module, PTM offroad improvements, PDCC, transmission cooler.

This is just the stuff that I am aware of.. It is amazing how many items they touched for a refresh.

already scheduled to get the following done...

ipd plentum
secondary cat delete
X pipe & muffler removal
black powdercoated exhaust tips
carbon fiber wrap to all of the silver pieces on the front/back bumper
door handles
green calipers and emblems like my 05 pictured below
gloss black powdercoated wheels
porsche factory tow package

all of that should be done with in the next week then when Todd from evolution motorsports is back in town, I will discuss logistics of having them do evoms diverter valves, evoms intake and tune and she will be all done.

I am basically mirroring my old 05 but doing it right the first time rather that doing it piece by piece...

I also had my boat trailer done black to complete the theme lol people tell me I have a color matching issue. The red viper will be sold soon and I will be on the look out for an ithaca verde (green) gallardo... that should do it!
