Cayenne Fuel Pumps

How many have had to replace a fuel pump or both fuel pumps?

Please let me know.

I am trying to differentiate between those requiring only the Main Fuel Pump be replaced and those requiring Both Fuel Pumps requiring replacement.

Please tell us the mileage on your Cayenne at the time of the repairs.

Thank you in Advance

I replaced both of mine around 120k? Turns out I had been driving around on only 1 for quite some time.

Mine would not run at all when I broke down on the streets of Tempe one hot night. It would start then hesitate so much and was throbbing so massively that it was scary. I managed to stop just in between two driveway entrances against the curb. My trailer was in tow, so spending the night was not impossible. However, I ran out of propane which meant I could not run my generator and hence my travel trailer's air conditioning. Also the food in my freezer and refrigerator was at risk. It was rather stressful.

I've replaced a lot of them. I've never seen a Cayenne where both were bad, but a lot of people elect to replace both at the same time, since both sides of the tank need to be opened to replace either pump.
