For those that did not know:

When your battery is dead and the key is stuck in the ignition,

There is a very small black rectangular tab located on the ring around the ign. keyhole. Pop that little tab out and insert something small to depress the little button inside and you will be able to remove the key

Happy to see more people tackling the Cayenne and repairs!

When I get home I'll get you the list of tools this weekend. It took me a few hours to do everything. Sometimes things do come apart as easy as u want or u need something whatever the case I say around three hours to take apart and probably three to reassemble. I'm not a mechanic I'm your average joe.

Thanks for the tip! Yeah figured mine as well save a couple thousand and learn about my car. Still waiting on my check from porsche from the law suit. Even though it doesn't even cover the parts.👎 to porsche on that.

I dought anything comes form the lawsuit. From what I have seen randomly across the web you have to take it to the dealer. And even then they will only cover 500-600. So rather then paying 2k you get it for 1400-1500. What a deal for some one elses massive engineering screw up. But not every one is covered that's having the issue. I forget the details.

Few more. The hose clamp tool ecs sells would be probably nice to have. I just used needle nose pliers. They also sell a coolant pressure test kit which I need to by or you can rent / buy one from auto zone for two or three hundred then return. That's about it and maybe a Drexel tool to remove old pipes
