08 Cayenne S Oil Change Question

Hello all,

Going to change oil with help from friends for my 2008 Cayenne S.

Questions please:

1) Should I buy the oil filter from dealer or any oil filter like K&N from autoparts store is fine?

2) how many quarts of oil do I need and what kind (0w-40?)?

3) can I just use mobil 1 synthetic oil from auto-parts store?

Thank you.

K&n filter is ok. I used one. Two 5 qt jugs of 0w-40 should do. Only will need about 8.5-9 including priming the filter.

Its not a difficult job just time consuming. Looks like you got everything set and ready to go. Im not sure if K&N's oil filters are like their air filters. I would maybe go with a WIX filter. Ive had better results with them.

damn! My indy only charged me $25 for a oil change. I brought my own parts and only spent a total of $55.
