955 CTT 1/4 mile times

I did a timed run last week and I got a 15.9 quarter mile time. I've read others getting 13's on stock set up

We don't have the greatest fuel but I still think I should be getting better times. Any suggestions on what to look at.

15.9 does seem a bit slow. Do you have any of the intermediate times like 60foot, 1/8 mile? That might tell you more about what was happening. Also how did you launch? Did you brake boost at all?

There are a few 955's here turning low 13's although a couple of them are Turbo S. http://www.dragtimes.com/results.php...9&sort=year-up

Thanks for the reply

Didn't launch. Just took off with psm off. So took off on first.

Still for me to hit 13s looks near impossible.

A few months back with a launch etc I got 15.5 sec

I would like to get to the 13s but want to know what to start investigating.

What was your trap speed? That will tell if you are down on power.. Although with a 15.9 sec ET, something isn't right for sure. If you have the slip break down including 60', 330, 1/8 mile with trap speeds it would give more to go off of.
