Coolant pipe help
Does anyone know what this is for or if it's supposed to be hooked up? Took my intake off not sure if I broke it or not but looks like it's been that way for awhile not sure. Thanks for any help I have the 955 ctts

That is where a vacuum or breather hose connects to. Here is a pic of the complete hose and how to fix it. It runs under the passenger side plastic cover and hooks up to the fatter hose which goes across near the front of the engine. You should be able to see what is missing The original nylon T gets brittle and breaks easily. I replaced mine with a brass T. To get the nylon out I had to break it up with a pair of pliers and suck the bits out with a piece of tubing stuck into the crevice tool of a vacuum.

I'll check it out when I get home. That doesn't hook to the breather lines that are included in the breather kit from ecs? I just see your first photo trying to put this all together mentally until I get home to check it out

That one is not included in the coolant pipe kit. Here's a better photo of the hose, where you can see the white tee connection:

I have this issue and project to do - may try the home fix as well, although I bought the OEM replacement as backup.
Q's: what type of hose did you use coming off the brass T and approx length? Also, did it fit directly onto the larger hose T?
Thanks!
