It adds no HP or improves air flow. The OEM is plastic the one in question is metal. That's about the only difference over stock.

Ghostman, I think maybe you are thinking of the IPD plenum. There are no pics of the Fabspeed V-flow, but the description sounds like just a cold air intake kit. Which as discussed elsewhere on a NA car is probably pretty close to snake-oil but really any time you can open up the breathing of an engine it should help a little.
