40K Mile Service?

How much have you guys paid for the 40K mile service? My dealer quoted me $1,100. Has anyone gone with an independent shop or done it yourselves? I think he said it included spark plugs, oil change, pollen filter, air filter(not sure on this one), and battery maintenance.

The 40K mile service on my 04 CS was $376.79. This included new wipers and new pollen filter. The CS maintenance manual calls for new plugs at 60K miles not at 40K.

If it is a turbo or V6, it includes plugs at 40. also 2 air filters if turbo, and check the ignition coils.

lol... I'm at 23k, they wanted $650 for the 20k, Which was an oil change and a cabin filter plus the usual checkup stuff. I did the oil change myself and saved $300.
